AVI Representative

Aviso Wealth Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an AVI Representative in Saskatoon, SK. As an AVI Representative, you will be responsible for working with credit union members to create personalized financial plans, provide retirement planning and investment counseling, and offer estate planning and disability insurance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct personal interviews with members to identify their financial needs and goals, and develop tailored financial plans.
  • Provide holistic wealth management services, including financial, retirement, investment, estate, and insurance planning.
  • Offer basic and comprehensive insurance planning strategies using life, disability, critical illness, and long-term care insurance.
  • Maintain client files and report on activities to credit union Wealth Manager and/or Aviso Sales Development Manager.
  • Conduct client seminars on wealth management and attend business development opportunities as required.
  • Administer assigned budget and ensure effective expenditure management.
  • Promote Synergy Credit Union's investment services through the AVI program in the community.
  • Support credit union staff on wealth management products and develop business plans.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • LLQP – Life & Accident and Sickness
  • Securities (CSC) Licensing
  • Financial Planning Designation (i.e. CFP, PFP, CLU, Ch.F.C., CIM)
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience as a financial planner
  • General investment and insurance industry knowledge and awareness of the Canadian credit union system
  • Strong sales and presentation skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
