Job Title: Resource Liaison

Community Living Burlington is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual to fill the role of Resource Liaison in our Children's Inclusion Services department.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, temporary position that will last for one year. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with families and child care settings to provide children with interventions that support opportunity for growth and development.
  • Act as a liaison and community representative on behalf of Community Living Burlington.
  • Develop and implement Family Service Plans through a collaborative approach with parents and/or caregivers and other professionals involved.
  • Coach and model approaches for functional development that can be consistent in the home and child care setting.
  • Accommodate children with developmental delays and provide support to families.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education Diploma and/or Degree from a recognized community college/university or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience working in an inclusive child care environment.
  • Experience with children at risk for or with developmental delays across the age span of birth to 12 years.
  • Knowledge and understanding of child care principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to be flexible and responsive to shifting service demands.
