About the Role
This Manufacturing Engineering Lead position plays a critical role in supervising a team of employees responsible for executing the company's manufacturing system. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new processes and continuously improving existing ones, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, guide, support, and provide daily direction to all staff within the department through regular goal reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Review and monitor department activities to ensure timely completion of projects, generating new project ideas, creating timelines, and building basic business cases.
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures as required to support changing business demands.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data to identify trends and areas for continuous improvement, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence within the department.
  • Conduct planned workplace inspections, participate in accident/incident investigations, and coordinate new business quotes for manufacturing assembly processes.
  • Prepare, review, and perform performance appraisals, maintaining confidentiality and upholding company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years' experience leading a small or large team of engineers, with 3-5 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering role. Industry 4.0 knowledge is an asset, along with strong analytical skills and project management experience.
