Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our Process/Manufacturing Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating projects and interfacing with customers. You will also design experiments, tools, and fixtures, support the development and updating of assembly work instructions, improve quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process, and provide technical support for new and existing products.
Required Skills and Qualifications- You possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) and are a team player.
- You have a basic understanding of manufacturing systems.
- You are knowledgeable about MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- You have knowledge of CAD software such as Solidworks, 3D printing.
- You have experience with web-based coding.
- You can work within a fast-paced environment.
- You are able to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of situations.
As an intern at Celestica, you will gain valuable development through real-life work experience, exciting projects, and networking with industry professionals. You will also have access to our development programs and projects. Additionally, you will be eligible for our Time Off to Volunteer program – two paid days off to volunteer per year.
This role is ideal for students who enrolled in a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering program. As this position involves work that is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP), your employment offer is conditional upon the successful completion of a security assessment by Celestica and/or its authorized agents, per the Controlled Goods Regulations.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on the company's location and industry standards.
