Job Summary

Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making and forecasting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including management and external partners.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree and/or diploma in a related discipline, such as management, accounting, and finance.
  • Experience: 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on financial analysis and modeling.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Finance and Accounting Designation: Working towards achieving a finance and accounting designation is considered an asset.
  • ERP System Experience: Experience using the finance and accounting modules of a comprehensive ERP system, such as SAP and/or Great Plains, is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings at multiple sites throughout the organization.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry items of up to approximately 25 pounds.
