About the Job
The Business Conduct Compliance Examiner plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the securities industry. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by conducting field reviews of sales and business conduct compliance activities of Dealer Member head office and business locations.

You'll interpret and apply CIRo Dealer Member Rules to the evolving business models of firms, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Your expertise will help us protect investors and support healthy capital markets in Canada.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations of Dealer Member business activities to identify potential risks.
  • Develop and implement effective control measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of current control systems and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate complex technical information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
