Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ontario Inc. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth flow of information within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to optimize efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to telephone and electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a similar role at Ontario Inc.
  • Knowledge of government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, and other diverse groups.
  • Ability to work in a bilingual environment (English and French).
