Relief Pharmacist

Job Summary:
Job Description: As a Relief Pharmacist at Lawtons, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional pharmacy services and support to our customers, medical practitioners, and retail pharmacies. Your primary focus will be on delivering clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments. You will work closely with our team to achieve excellence in patient-focused care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Services:
- Provide clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
- Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants (if applicable).
- Collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
- Identify actual and potential drug-related problems.
- Monitor medication adherence.
- Provide patient counseling for new therapy and determine patients' understanding of their medication.
- Tailor counseling to the needs and concerns of the patient.
- Customer Service:
- Acknowledge customers promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion towards the customer.
- Provide superior customer service to every customer.
- Responsible for understanding all offerings and providing each customer with the program that meets their health needs.
- Requirements:
- Above-average communication skills (both oral and written).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-directed and able to work independently to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
- Injection Certification.
- Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
