Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist, CT to join our Medical Imaging team at Humber River Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures, operating imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures in accordance with department protocols and radiologist instructions
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners and contrast injectors
- Prepare and assess patients for CT scans, including obtaining consent and sterile technique practices
- Review and present images to radiologists for reporting via PACS
- Adhere to radiation safety practices to protect patients, colleagues, and self
Requirements
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in good standing
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred
- CT certification preferred
- Previous experience in CT preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good teamwork and customer service skills
- IV certification required
