We are seeking a talented Architect to join our dynamic team at Zeidler Partnership Architects. As a leading Canadian architectural practice, we design meaningful spaces that contribute to community and deliver lasting value.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the design, delivery, and coordination of all phases of the project from pre-design to site administration.
- Develop architectural drawings, design integration/strategies, and planning requirements.
- Collaborate with consultants, clients, and project teams to ensure timely completion of creative and/or technical and/or administrative tasks.
- Establish, maintain, and adhere to project budget and schedule.
- Develop contract drawing and specification procedures and complete design/contract documents to relevant office, development bylaw, and building code standards.
- Develop basic office administration procedures, including project documentation and filing systems.
- Contribute to project and office management related activities, including project scheduling and budget assessment, fee proposals, marketing RFPs, and work plans.
- Degree in Architecture from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Registered with OAA/AAA/AIBC or another Canadian architectural association.
- Full knowledge of local construction systems and related detailing, including sustainable building design criteria.
- Extensive experience with local city development and building permit process required.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, including creative drawing ability, 3D modeling, and freehand sketch skills.
- Technical drawing ability, including Revit and CAD.
