Service Technician – Recreational Vehicles

Traveland RV Canada is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for examining and diagnosing RV problems, discussing repairs with our shop foreman or RV service advisor, and communicating additional service requests to our RV service advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and diagnose RV problems to identify the root cause of the issue
  • Discuss repairs with our shop foreman or RV service advisor to determine the best course of action
  • Communicate additional service requests to our RV service advisor to ensure seamless communication
  • Plan work procedures in cooperation with our shop foreman to ensure efficient and effective repairs
  • Provide labor time estimates to our RV service advisor to ensure accurate billing
  • Monitor repair time and update our RV service advisor regularly to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Complete detailed documentation for client repairs to ensure accurate records
  • Assist in mentoring RV technician trainees to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development
  • Attend company and factory training to stay up-to-date on the latest technical bulletins and industry developments

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Journeyman ticket – preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Great attitude and positive energy
  • Career-minded and team-oriented individual
