Service Technician – Recreational Vehicles

Traveland RV is seeking a skilled RV technician to provide quality service to our customers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for examining and diagnosing RV problems, discussing repairs with the shop foreman or RV service advisor, and communicating additional service requests to the RV service advisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine and diagnose RV problems to identify the root cause of the issue.
  • Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or RV service advisor to determine the best course of action.
  • Communicate additional service requests to the RV service advisor to ensure that all necessary work is completed.
  • Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman to ensure efficient and effective service.
  • Provide labor time estimates to the RV service advisor to help manage customer expectations.
  • Monitor repair time and update the RV service advisor regularly to ensure that the job is completed on time.
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs to ensure that all necessary information is recorded.
  • Assist in mentoring RV technician trainees to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Attend company and factory training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Keep current with factory technical bulletins to ensure that our technicians have access to the latest information and resources.

Qualifications

  • Driver's license
  • Journeyman ticket (preferred)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
