We're seeking an experienced Manager - Portfolio Loan Support to join our team. This role will play a critical part in providing leadership and oversight to a team of Portfolio Analysts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client experience and minimizing risk.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for facilitating the lending journey for business clients, including facility/loan set up, pre-disbursement review, fulfillment and maintenance, portfolio management, and training. Key responsibilities will include:
- Achieving performance goals and objectives by planning and managing capacity, improving team member engagement, supporting all applicable enterprise strategic initiatives, and providing great leadership.
- Effectively leading, coaching, and mentoring a team across Alberta.
- Assuming primary decision-making, ownership, and accountability for processes, projects, and oversight while representing a dedicated Business Sector.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial or business lending within a financial institution
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of enabling team member success and engagement
- A post-secondary degree in business, management, or equivalent experience
- Solid knowledge of corporate finance credit products and services
- Strong communication and translation skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster collaboration
