We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Stikine D&T Centre in Dease Lake. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing services in a tertiary care Emergency Department, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing services to clients presenting to the Emergency Department, utilizing advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Two years' recent experience working in a tertiary care Emergency Department and/or two years' recent medical/surgical experience.
- Completion of an approved post-basic emergency nursing specialty program or equivalent training and experience may be considered.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Emergency room.
