We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care in a variety of clinical settings. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care and respond to changing healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and prioritize client needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area (e.g. Emergency, Perinatal, Operating Room)
