Job Summary:

F. Ménard is seeking a skilled Hog Farm Worker to join our team. As a Hog Farm Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our pigs, while also meeting our production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feed and water the animals to maintain their health and productivity.
  • Monitor the animals' behavior and health, and report any issues to management.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the animal facilities.
  • Assist with the production of piglets, including breeding, farrowing, and weaning.
  • Perform health checks on animals and administer medical treatment as needed.
  • Order feed and supplies as required.

Requirements:

  • Passion for animal care and welfare.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills and knowledge.
