About the Role:

Brandt is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at our Brossard Construction & Forestry location. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of Ditch Witch trenchers/plows, mini-skid steers, vac trailers, and directional drills, along with Morbark brush chippers and Rayco stump grinders, and/or other material Underground & Tree Care products in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Sell both new and used Underground & Tree Care equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR). Travel across entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by growing our share of our existing customer base's wallet spend, acquiring new customers, identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis: Keep current on customers' business activities and needs, and prepare and maintain customer status reports including sales call activities and customer lists.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR, and keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Administrative and Operational Tasks: Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner, manage travel requirements and expenses, and perform other projects/duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Must be familiar with the trenching/plowing/drilling and/or tree care industry, having spent some time working in or servicing it.
  • Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory, excellent verbal and written communications, strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, and ability to travel throughout the assigned area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal driven, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
