Construction Site Team Lead

First Onsite is seeking an experienced Construction Site Team Lead to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position that involves overseeing construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Canadian construction processes and project scheduling, as well as experience working with emergency mitigation teams.
Responsibilities- Lead crews on-site and ensure all work meets high standards for quality and safety
- Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure policies are followed
- Review project plans and coordinate schedules with Project Managers
- Create detailed materials lists and oversee on-site demos
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience from the restoration or construction industry (Emergency Mitigation experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Canadian construction processes and project scheduling
- Familiarity with reconstruction practices (water, fire, mold, wind, and vandalism damage)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook) and Xactimate
- Basic accounting knowledge (invoicing, billing, and general math)
