Job Summary

Ecliptic Builders LTD. is seeking a skilled Hardwood Floor Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hardwood floor installations meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Dusty work site environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Hand-eye coordination and good judgement
  • Team player with a permanent work term
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 35 hours of work per week
