- Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department store, ensuring efficient use of resources, effective inventory management, and high-quality customer service.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, department managers, and other support staff to achieve business objectives and improve performance.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies, promotions, and events to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Store Visual Merchandising: Oversee the visual presentation of the store, including merchandise displays, window displays, and in-store promotions.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a senior leadership role in retail operations, preferably in a department store environment.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound business decisions.
The successful candidate will be willing to relocate to Saint Albert and work in a fast-paced retail environment with a large workload and tight deadlines.
Language and HoursThe work language is English, and the work hours are 37.5 hours per week.
