Job Title: Cook

Marcello's Market & Deli is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Work Environment:

The Cook will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of communication
  • 40 hours per week
