About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Draftsperson to join our team at Tarasick McMillan Kubicki Limited. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Survey Planning and Execution
    • Develop and prepare design sketches and survey plans
    • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
    • Consult with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements
    • Survey building locations and levels
    • Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts
  • Design and Drafting
    • Develop survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys
    • Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs
    • Plan and design water and waste management systems
    • Oversee the preparation of site plans, reports, and land use studies
    • Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings of sites
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in AutoCAD and computer-aided design (CAD)
    • Strong understanding of cartographic drafting and survey principles
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • 1-2 years of experience in survey drafting or a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • AutoCAD Certification
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
