About the Job

FDS Construction Inc is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining concrete forms for various construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and outdoors environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is varied, with opportunities to work on different construction projects and locations.

Language and Travel

The primary language of work is English, and travel expenses are paid by the employer.
