Job Title: Concrete Forms Carpenter

FDS Construction Inc is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing concrete forms for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and outdoors environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Working Conditions:
