Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

Smith's Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining prescription records, and preparing medications for clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify the accuracy of prescription information
  • Maintain prescription records and databases
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Perform general clerical duties
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Will train
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
