Cedarbrae Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information and supporting our pharmacists in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and maintaining prescription records
- Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams as needed
- Maintain inventory of medications and prescription records
- Bill third-party insurers for prescriptions
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or drugstore setting
- Fast-paced environment and attention to detail
- Accurate, dependable, organized, and team player
