TeleSAFE Consultant Opportunity

Interior Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) Team as a TeleSAFE Consultant. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can provide consultation, support, and guidance to onsite staff and patients across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide virtual SAFE examinations for patients via phone and/or video
  • Support onsite clinicians with procedure and documentation
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to onsite staff
  • Communicate with patients and their support systems to ensure a smooth care experience

The TeleSAFE Consultant will work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to provide person-centered, culturally safe, and recovery-oriented care. This role requires a trauma and violence-informed approach, using evidence-informed practice to support patients and their support systems.

We are seeking a TeleSAFE Consultant who is available to work a minimum of 50+ hours per month. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours, and work requirements may vary from zero to 37.5 hours per week. Shifts will include Days/Nights and weekdays and weekends.
