At Super8 Salmon Arm, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers: Provide guidance and support to our cleaning staff to ensure that their tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required: Work with our facilities team to identify areas where additional services are required, such as painting or repairs, and arrange for these services to be completed.
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs: Process payments for specialized cleaning jobs, such as Move-in/Move-out cleaning or Construction Cleaning.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties: Provide support to our cleaning staff as needed, including assisting with tasks such as cleaning equipment or supplies.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and facilities, to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Establish work schedules: Assist in establishing work schedules for our cleaning staff to ensure that our facilities are cleaned efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Fast-paced environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking: Spend a combination of time sitting, standing, and walking, depending on the task.

Experience:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year: Have at least 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent: Work on a permanent basis.
  • English: Work in English.
  • 35 hours per week: Work 35 hours per week.
