Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing one or more multidisciplinary teams consisting of developers, software architects, and product owners.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Structure, build, and lead a highly effective team. Mentor, inspire, train, and hold the team accountable for delivering results, spreading best practices, and enhancing their skills and impact.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of work and the individual performance of team members within their squads.
- Architecture and Design: Participate in SaaS architecture and ensure the proper use of various tools in place.
- Recruitment and Talent Management: Conduct annual performance evaluations and develop improvement or development plans as needed. Recruit new talent and establish service agreements with potential partners.
- Project Management: Closely monitor project progress with the team and communicate updates to management.
- Process Improvement: Propose improvements to current processes and assist in implementing solutions. Suggest and implement tools to enhance squad efficiency.
- Training and Development: Support ongoing training plans for team members in terms of technical skills acquisition (coding dojo, etc.).
- Communication and Representation: Present, when necessary, architectures and methodologies to clients and auditors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 10 years or more of experience in software development, 3 years or more of experience in team management as a manager or team lead.
- Skills: Experience in software architecture, proven delivery of at least one SaaS product, bilingual in French and English (oral and written), experience in object-oriented programming.
- Assets: Ability to represent the company on technical topics in front of clients.
