Adult Crossing Guard Casual/On-call Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a casual, on-call Adult Crossing Guard. As a crossing guard, you will be responsible for maintaining order and safety in and around your assigned crosswalk, ensuring the well-being of students and adults alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain order and safety in and around your assigned crosswalk
  • Model and reinforce proper behavior and adherence to safety rules
  • Report driver infractions and unusual or strange behavior
  • Attend yearly training sessions on traffic safety
  • Supervise students on school property and assist with simple office duties

Requirements:

  • Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Experience working with children or raising children
  • Ability to build successful relationships and influence behavior
  • Knowledge of traffic safety and conflict resolution
