Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to play a key role in shaping solutions that address real market challenges. As a Product Designer, you'll be responsible for crafting outstanding user experiences that truly resonate with our customers. You'll work closely with our development teams to improve user experiences, align design with our long-term business goals, and contribute creatively and strategically to every phase of the product development journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research & User Empathy
    • Meet and shadow customers to understand market problems and gain valuable insights.
    • Conduct user interviews and usability experiments to inform design decisions.
    • Analyze data to support decision-making and drive business outcomes.
    • Shadow front-line employees to gain further insights and understand their needs.
  • Iterative & Collaborative Design
    • Conduct design sessions and test prototypes with users to ensure seamless user experiences.
    • Collaborate with development teams to improve user experiences and drive business outcomes.
    • Align design with Amilia's long-term business goals and objectives.
    • Create wireframes, mockups, and sketches to visualize design concepts.
    • Participate in sprint planning and reviews to ensure design alignment with business objectives.
  • User Experience Advocacy
    • Contribute to the creation of tools for the benefit of the Product Design team, including Design Systems, Figma components, and work methodology documentation.
    • Coach software developers in the use of Product Design resources and best practices.
    • Promote design principles and best practices in user experience to drive business outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay updated by reading and sharing industry-relevant articles and blogs to stay ahead of the curve.
    • Attend and share insights from webinars on modern design practices to drive business outcomes.
    • Experiment with and suggest new approaches to improve processes and drive business outcomes.
    Requirements
    • Minimum of 3 years in UX or product design experience.
    • Experience in design software, particularly Figma.
    • Experience in mobile-first and accessible design, with a focus on WCAG AA compliance.
    • Experience with Design Systems and AGILE methodology.
    • Bilingual skills, with strong English and French language proficiency.
    • Organized, solution-oriented, with deep empathy for users and a passion for driving business outcomes.
    • Experience in designing for enterprise SaaS is a plus.
