We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Distinct Contracting Corporation. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of our building projects.



About the Role:

  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  2. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  3. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
  4. Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
  5. Supervising other workers.
  6. Maintaining, repairing and renovating residences and wooden structures in various establishments.


Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
