Job Summary

Nuvation Engineering, a leading Engineering Design Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems involving complex analog, digital, high-speed, and programmable logic technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration.
  • Lead and participate in design reviews, technical proposal writing, and project estimation.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, block diagrams, and system architecture reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our design processes and products.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in electronics and embedded systems hardware design, including analog and digital PCB design, high-speed digital design, and ADC/DAC system design.
  • Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI fundamentals and experience integrating hardware systems with FPGAs and/or embedded processors.
  • Advanced PCB- and system-level troubleshooting experience, and expertise in high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers, spectrum, and/or network analyzers.
  • Proficiency in schematic entry and PCB layout tools, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or alternate tools.
  • Excellent technical documentation skills, including experience creating design specifications, block diagrams, system architecture reports, and test plans.
  • University degree or College Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership capability and desire to mentor others.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous nature, rapid learning ability, and passion for creativity.
