Job Summary

MAGIC SHADE PAINTERS INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Painting and Decorating Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating process, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule painting and decorating activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality results.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to junior team members, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, manage project documentation, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in painting and decorating, with a proven track record of success.
