We are seeking a skilled Tile Installation Specialist to join our team at 6240 NWT Ltd.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position that requires 1-2 years of experience in tile installation. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality installations, ensuring client satisfaction and meeting deadlines.

About the Role
  • The Tile Installation Specialist will be responsible for preparing surfaces, measuring, and marking areas to be covered with tiles.
  • They will mix, apply, and spread adhesives using hand trowels, set tiles in place, and align them to ensure a precise fit.
  • The specialist will also cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, pack grout into joints, and remove excess grout.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, repairing, and smoothing out imperfections.
  • Measure and mark areas to be covered with tiles, taking into account any obstacles or irregularities.
  • Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels, spreading them evenly to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surface.
  • Set tiles in place, applying pressure to affix them securely.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout to achieve a seamless finish.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
