About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team at the Invermere District Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in various clinical settings
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Ensure delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing healthcare needs

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Working Conditions

This casual opportunity involves working varied shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, rotating between 07:00 to 19:00, 10:00 to 22:00, and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

Salary Information

The hourly rate for this position is $41.42 to $55.91 per hour, effective April 1, 2024.

The Invermere & District Hospital is located in the heart of Invermere, offering easy access to beautiful Lake Windermere and nearby amenities.
