Indigenous Relations Specialist

Graham is seeking a highly skilled Indigenous Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure division, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, including identifying and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective community engagement and consultation.
- Provide cultural training and education to project teams and stakeholders.
- Manage the master Indigenous contacts database and coordinate community sponsorship opportunities and event attendance.
- Engage with Indigenous partners to share important information and facilitate participation in project development.
- Diploma training program or University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Indigenous or community relations, business development, or project management.
- Demonstrated Indigenous peoples cultural and business awareness, experience working with communities in Western Canada, and ability to collaborate effectively with various community members.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and strong personal motivation.
- Competitive salary range: $92,700 - $120,000.
