Nurturing the Next Generation: A Rewarding Role at Ontario Inc.

We are seeking an experienced and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Ontario Inc. This is a permanent opportunity that will allow you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.

About the Role

This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children aged 0-12 months. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will develop and implement child-care programs, lead activities, and encourage creativity through various mediums.

Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the growth and development of children
  • Lead activities by reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children on outings to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express themselves creatively through art, music, and other forms of self-expression
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and provide reports to parents or guardians
Certifications and Experience

You must hold an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and have at least one year of experience working with children in a similar capacity. Your knowledge of cultural competency and diversity training is also essential in creating a welcoming environment for all employees and clients.
