Job Title: Physical Exercise Specialist

Join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) as a Physical Exercise Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of Canadian Armed Forces members and their families.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Exercise Specialist to lead reconditioning programs for Canadian Armed Forces members who may be affected by medical conditions. Your expertise will help improve their functional abilities related to their physical limitations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement physical fitness programs for Canadian Armed Forces members
  • Lead reconditioning programs to improve functional abilities
  • Support local teams with training and professional development
  • Assist Health Promotion partners in promoting healthy practices and injury prevention
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Human Kinetics, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences, or a related field. You must also have current certifications as a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP_CEP) and CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications.

Language Requirements

English is the primary language of communication, but bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
