Job Title: Highway Snow Removal Equipment Operator

Emcon Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced winter maintenance environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking, lubricating, refueling, and cleaning equipment, as well as operating various vehicles and equipment. A strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as snowplows, salt trucks, and sanding trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
  • Work in a cold, noisy, and potentially hazardous environment.
  • Meet or exceed performance standards and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Valid AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a winter maintenance environment.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
