Manitoba, Canada Currency Mart Full time

At Currency Mart, we are seeking a skilled Foreign Exchange Specialist to join our team. As a Foreign Exchange Specialist, you will be responsible for performing foreign currency exchange, processing money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, and calculating daily/shift payments received and reconciling with total sales. You will also handle cash transactions and calculate foreign currency exchange. In addition, you will be required to have knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Interac machine, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system. A criminal record check will be required. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to have attention to detail. You will be a team player and have accurate skills. You will also be eligible for dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits, group insurance benefits, and free parking available. You will work 30 to 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform foreign currency exchange
  • Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
  • Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
  • Handle cash transactions
  • Calculate foreign currency exchange

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Interac machine, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system
  • Criminal record check
