Job Title: Foreign Exchange Teller

Currency Mart is seeking a skilled Foreign Exchange Teller to join our team. As a Foreign Exchange Teller, you will be responsible for performing foreign currency exchange, processing money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, and calculating daily/shift payments received and reconciling with total sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform foreign currency exchange and process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
  • Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
  • Handle cash transactions and calculate foreign currency exchange
  • Operate MS Excel, MS Word, Interac machine, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of transactions
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail business, business office, or currency exchange booth
  • Criminal record check
  • Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, accurate, team player, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
