Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Columbia View Lodge, a long-term care site in Trail, BC.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will perform assessments, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. They will also administer medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
About this Opportunity:
This is a part-time opportunity until July 22, 2025, or the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and evenings; rotating from 06:45 to 14:45, 14:45 to 22:15 hours.
About Columbia View Lodge:
Columbia View Lodge is a 76-bed long-term care site with four units, one of which is a secure unit for special care residents. We have a mixed population, including short stay beds for community palliative, respite, and convalescent care. Our team offers a range of services, including an adult day program and a community bathing program.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $73,000-$91,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Practical Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must also hold current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and current CPR certification.
