Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Textile Processing Labourer to join our team at DAVE CUT MAKE & TRIM INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various textile processing machines, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Load and off-load machines, operate and feed a variety of machines, and adjust cutting technique to type of fabric and style of garment.
  • Quality Control: Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards and mix dyes or chemicals according to established formulae.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas, and investigate machine stoppages to prevent downtime.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist machine operators and other textile workers as required, and adjust rotation and mixing action of vats according to state of pelts.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a textile processing environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
