Nurturing Early Childhood Educator

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Aspiring Academics Preschool Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs for school-age children before and after regular school hours
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
  • Establish guidelines for behaviour and ensure a collaborative relationship with co-workers and community service providers working with children
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of child development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
  • Membership in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
