About the Role

Flowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team, where you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex aftermarket orders related to repairs, upgrades, and maintenance of rotating pumps and equipment for our customers in various industries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead kickoff meetings and phase gate meetings to coalesce strategies into actions, identifying stakeholders and analyzing their expectations.
  • Review and manage contract documentation to ensure successful execution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist the project team in developing the scope of supply, translating work breakdown structures into activity-based schedules, and identifying critical paths.
  • Communicate project specifications, terms, and conditions to key suppliers.
  • Lead project review meetings and collaborate with all disciplines during the project to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in rotating or fixed equipment and/or equipment packages, with 2+ years in project management or a related order fulfillment role.
  • Deep understanding of project management concepts, proficiency in project management tools and software, and experience with Root Cause Analysis, warranty processes, and quality assurance.
  • Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various audiences at different levels of the organization.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in pumps or rotating equipment; operating in an ERP system; and PMP certification.
  • Self-motivated individuals with a desire to drive a project management culture and demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and career development.

Location

The position is located in our Leduc, AB facility, with occasional overnight travel required (up to 20% of the time).
