Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports, communicating key performance indicators and business outcomes to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a food service environment, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
