Job Summary

We are seeking highly professional Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to work in various long-term and acute care facilities in the Windsor area.

This is a unique opportunity to earn above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation, while enjoying consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care, within the scope of practice of an RPN.
  • Utilize sound nursing principles to ensure excellent delivery of personal care in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
  • Manage supply control, safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and adherence to protocols on all shifts.
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), as well as negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shift times, up to 12 hours in length.
  • Reliability to be placed at agreed-upon facilities/units.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, successful candidates will also receive travel compensation and accommodation benefits.
