Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Calmont Truck Centre in Calgary. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Safety glasses/goggles
