Landscape Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Entrepreneur Paysagistes Strathmore Landscape (1997) LTEE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to a high standard.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance our outdoor spaces.
  • Lay sod or seed to create lush and vibrant lawns.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add colour and beauty to our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Shovel ice and snow from track switch boxes to ensure safe and accessible outdoor spaces.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Availability for the advertised start date.
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Current residence in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Previous experience in this field of employment.
Working Conditions:
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English or French language proficiency.
